FlyQuest kick off playoffs with a win
The playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 19 kicked off on a fine note for FlyQuest as they kicked off their campaign with an 8-4 lead on the CT side of their map pick Vertigo. However, the momentum shifted in the favour of BetBoom as the sides switched. Not able to string together multiple rounds cost FlyQuest the map, as they lost by a 11-13 deficit.
Next up was BetBoom’s pick of Mirage, which saw a close 6-6 first half. While the scores remain tied at 9-9, FlyQuest gained momentum in the decisive moments to seal the map with a 13-9 win. Similar to Mirage, Anubis kicked off with a 6-6 half, but soon favoured FlyQuest as they seized the momentum on their CT side. With aliStair leading from the front, they closed out the map with a 13-9 scoreline.
The Australians will now take on Liquid in the Playoffs Round 2, with the game taking place tomorrow 23:00 IST.
