G2 gets NA'd
The woes continue for G2 Esports as they go down to M80 in the Group B lower bracket semi-final, falling to the last chance stage as a result. The BO3 kicked off with a beating, as M80 defeated them on Ancient with a score of 13-2, as G2 averaged one round a half.
The second map Inferno started in a similar fashion, with M80 establishing a 7-1 lead, but m0NESY's timely arrival to the server brought the game back for G2, as they secured a 19-16 win after 2 rounds of OT. m0NESY's 30 bomb on the map ended up as the savior, as the match progressed to the final map Vertigo.
However, with m0NESY once again failing to show up, G2's struggles once again surfaced. As a result, M80 got off to a hot start once again, leading 7-2. Similar to Inferno, G2 fought back once again, tying the score in Overtime. Despite best efforts from HooXi and HuNter, M80 ultimately closed out the game 22-19.
