FlyQuest stays afloat

BOSS drops to Last Chance Stage

Day 9 of ESL Pro League Season 19 kicked off with FlyQuest taking on BOSS in the Group D lower bracket round 1 game with both teams looking to avoid dropping to the Last Chance Stage.

Inferno got the series underway with the American squad picking up the CT-sided pistol to kick off things. The Aussies ended the opening half with a two round lead. The second half was another back and forth half with neither team willing to give an inch before INS powered up in the last couple of rounds in regulation to help FlyQuest pip BOSS 13-11.

After the opening two rounds, once the Australians brought out the guns, it was Dexter calling and hitting the shots. A 2v4 conversion from Vexite and dexter saw FlyQuest secure the half and the Australians ended with a big 9-3 lead. The T-sided pistol for FlyQuest was the final nail in the coffin for the Americans as the Australians breezed to a 13-3 win.

While the loss drops BOSS to the Group D Last Chance Stage, the Aussies fight on for another day.
