BLAST to hold BO5 Finals

With the adoption of the new and shorter MR12 format in place of the MR15 format, discussions within the community have advocated for BO5 finals instead of BO3s. Responding to these suggestions, BLAST has announced that the upcoming three events in 2024 will conclude with BO5 finals.

• BLAST Spring Final 2024(12th May-16th May)

• BLAST Fall Final 2024 (25th September-29th September)

• BLAST World Final 2024 (Nov 13th - Nov 17th)

Thus far, only the Pro League Finals have been conducted in a BO5 format. Despite this, the three largest events of the year—Cologne, Katowice, and the Major—continue to be scheduled in the BO3 format. It remains to be seen whether changes will be implemented for these events as well.
