The MongolZ crack top 10

The MongolZ ranked #6 in Valve's global rankings

In yesterday's update to Valve's official rankings, Asian team The MongolZ have made a massive leap, cracking into the top 10 just shy of a top 5 placement at #6. Gatekeeping the top 5, The MongolZ have put up dominant performances in and around Asia, even taking down strong European oppositions consistently.

Back-to-back LAN wins at MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 and YaLLa Compass 2024 have propelled The MongolZ eight places ahead of their previous placement, at #6 from the previous rankings update in mid-May. In these events, The MongolZ have taken down Ninjas in Pyjamas, ENCE, HEROIC, Astralis, Aurora and BLEED in a convincing fashion.

With each member of their roster averaging a 1+ HLTV rating for quite a while, The MongolZ have not had a single roster change since Senzu's addition in September 2023, adding to their chemistry. This past Sunday, The MongolZ' AWPer 910 secured HLTV MVP honors at YaLLa Compass, becoming the first Asian to receive the HLTV MVP status.

At the top, MOUZ still hold on to #1 with FaZe and Spirit trailing at #2 and #3.
