The MongolZ's opening round opponent for BLAST Bounty Season 2 revealed

The opening round of games for the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 has been determined after the pick order with the 16 low seeded teams picking their opponents for what will be the first major tournament of the second season of 2026.

Along with some of the biggest teams participating, the event will also have The MongolZ taking part, who will be the only Asian team in participation. The MongolZ will start their campaign on July 24, 2026 against HEROIC and it will be the first time the new lineup of The MongolZ will be in action. The MongolZ recently brought in tikuak and DarkMeister to round out their lineup after mzinho left for BC.Game and cobrazera was benched.

Ninjas in Pyjamas will take on M80 in the opening match of the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2. The BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 will have 32 teams battling it out online and the teams will follow a single elimination BO3 format. The top 8 teams will qualify for the LAN finals which will be held in Malta between July 30, 2026 and August 2, 2026. Amongst the notable teams in attendance will be the reigning Major champions, Falcons, Vitality, Spirit, FURIA, G2, Astralis, FaZe and Liquid amongst others.

A host of new rosters will be in action at the event along with The MongolZ, as Aurora will debut their international lineup with Jimpphat and kyxsan while G2 and MOUZ will see r1nkle, PR and xelex join the server with their new teams for the first time.
