TYLOO topple ex-Major champs to book XSE Pro League playoffs
The third day's play at XSE Pro League 2026 has kicked off and TYLOO has just become the first team to make it to the playoffs. TYLOO's path was by no means easy, going up against FaZe in the opener and then taking on PARIVISION in the winner's bracket. They set up their qualification game against Major winners JW and KRIMZ at EYEBALLERS. Taking down EYEBALLERS 2-0, the home secured a playoffs berth off of a flawless 3-0 group stage run.
The best-of-three began on Nuke where TYLOO looked razor sharp from the get-go. EYEBALLERS could not contain TYLOO's T-side as Mercury stepped up with a 2.28 rating half at an ADR of 120, complimented by Zero's 1.91 rating to propel the Chinese side to a 10-2 T-side on Nuke. maxster and KRIMZ showed signs of life in the second half but it was too little and too late as TYLOO closed Nuke 13-6.
The second map took us to the latest addition to the active duty map pool- Cache, picked by EYEBALLERS. The Swedish side struggled to get going on the T-side and ended up conceding yet another 2-10 deficit, this time on their own map pick. Jee and Zero with 100+ ADR showings in the first half helped TYLOO lock down a solid CT-side defense.
Switching over, EYEBALLERS secured four CT-side rounds in a row, showing early signs of a comeback but ran out of steam soon after. TYLOO secured a 13-7 win on Cache, wrapping the series 2-0. Moseyuh topped the charts for TYLOO but every other player put up ratings in excess of 1.15 while maxster was the only positively rated player on EYEBALLERS.
EYEBALLERS who started their tournament with wins against 3DMAX and 9z now head down to the 2-1 pool with two more chances to qualify to the playoffs.
