XinSai Esports confirms de_cache swap

XSE Pro League begins tomorrow

XinSai Esports has just announced that their upcoming Counter-Strike 2 events will feature de_cache in the map pool. Valve announced the map pool change after the IEM Cologne 2026 Major came to close. Cache will replace Overpass, which has seen a moderate pick rate since its re-entry to the active duty map pool.

Next in line for XinSai Esports is XSE Pro League 2026 which begins tomorrow. The A-tier event will see teams like FaZe, Cologne Major quater-finalist BetBoom, B8, PARIVISION and a number of other head-turners. XSE Pro League 2026 also comes as the first big Counter-Strike LAN after the IEM Cologne 2026 Major. The event will take place in Guangzhou, China with a prize pool of $1,000,000 USD. This also becomes the first big event to give us a sneak peak into de_cache at the highest levels of competition.

The tournament will run for nearly two weeks, ending on 12th July 2026. Sixteen teams lock horns in a Swiss system iteration in the group stage, sending the top eight into a single-elimination bracket playoffs. A best-of-five grand-final will determine the winner.
