Media: FlyQuest likely to bench story

According to an arena.rtp report, story has allegedly approached the management of FlyQuest to request a release from the organization's active Counter-Strike roster and move over to the bench. The Portuguese AWPer joined FlyQuest earlier this year and apart from a win at Zhi-Tech Elite Masters, things haven't been smooth sailing for the 24 year-old.

At one point, story even shared that the FlyQuest roster was struggling to log respectable practice hours and pointed out their lack of experience on European soil. story has put up a rating of 1.10 across 57 maps and his best showing came at the IEM Cologne 2026 Major in Stage 1 against Liquid. In FlyQuest's elimination match against Liquid, story opened the series with a 2.08 rating performance on Anubis, rolling out the red carpet for FlyQuest to walk into Stage 2.

Neither story nor FlyQuest has confirmed the benching request. This is a developing story, more updates shall follow as and when made public by FlyQuest or story.
