
Esports Nations Cup open registrations for qualifiers
The registrations for the CS2 open qualifier for the Esports Nations Cup. The Esports Foundation states that the open qualifiers for the Esports Nations Cup is the 'largest open qualifier in Counter-Strike history' with a total of 96 open qualifiers set to be held across the different regions. The Esports Nations Cup will be held between November 10 and November 15, 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The qualifiers will see the national qualifier winners grouped together in the regional qualifiers from which the final 24 teams will be locked in the main event in Riyadh. The national qualifiers will take place between July 6- July16, and the regional qualifiers will be held between July 17- July 19, 2026.
The Asian regions have been divided ito the Middle East & Central Asian region, which will have 3 Esports Nations Cup slots, the South & East Asia region which will have 2 Esports Nations Cup slots and the Southeast Asia region which will have 2 Esports Nations Cup slots. For the Indian teams, they are in the South & East Asia region. The Indian open qualifier will kick off on July 8, 2026 at 15:30 IST and is scheduled to conclude on July 10, 2026. The open qualifier has 32 slots with the winning team moving to the regional qualifier.
For the Indian and Asian teams, the slots and regions are as follows:

South & East Asia (2 ENC Slots): Mongolia, People's Republic of China, Pakistan, India, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong China, Chinese Taipei, and Japan

Southeast Asia (2 ENC Slots): Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the - Philippines, Cambodia, and Brunei Darussalam

Middle East & Central Asia (3 ENC Slots): Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iraq, Palestine, United Arab Emirates, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Islamic Republic of Iran, Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Armenia
According to the rulebook, teams can't have more than three players from the same VRS-ranked teams and organisations who will be releasing their core (3players) will remain eligible to earn VRS points as the Esports Nations Cup 2026 will be billed as a Tier-2 LAN.
