
BLAST Open Porto: Asian qualifiers announced
The qualifiers for BLAST Open Porto 2026 has just been announced. On the Asian side of things, GGTV will run the qualifiers while Relog handles European and South American qualifiers. CircuitX will host the North American qualifiers. Teams can register for the Asian open qualifiers through the 5e platform. Asian open qualifiers are divided into three sub-regions as follows:

The Asian open qualifiers will take place on 6th July 2026 and will likely run single-elimination brackets. The closed qualifier takes place the following week from 10th to 12th July 2026 where winners of the open qualifiers will join invited teams with the winner securing a main event slot. More information about the Asian qualifiers will follow as and when announced by BLAST or GGTV.

BLAST Open Porto 2026 will take place towards the end of August, starting on 26th. The event will run a studio LAN in BLAST Studios, Copenhagen for the group stage and then move to Porto for an Arena playoffs. The main event will feature a total of sixteen teams- twelve from the Global VRS and four from regional qualifiers.
