The Huns exit in semi-finals in first outing with new roster
Playing in their first event after making a couple of roster changes recently, Mongolian team The Huns have finished in 3-4th place at the ongoing MySkill LG UltraGear Tournament 2026, which is a LAN event currently taking place in Kazakhstan. Having parted ways with sk0R and xerolte recently, The Huns had announced Annihilation just a couple of days ago and played the event with 17-year old bexyz as their fifth.
Placed in Group A, The Huns started their campaign in Almaty against Kazakhstani team Game Point and had to pull out a reverse sweep in their opening game to get on the board. The win saw them head to the Group winner's game where they face NOVAQ and after starting with another loss in the opening game, a reverse sweep once again saw The Huns move into the semi-finals.
The semi-finals put The Huns up against CYBERSHOKER Prospects. The opening map on Dust2, the pick of CYBERSHOKE saw The Huns go missing on their CT side as an 11 round T side helped CYBERSHOKE ease to a dominant 13-1 win with only Annihilation managing to get double digit kills. Heading to their map pick of Nuke, it was another strong start from CYBERSHOKE, who went 8-4 up before The Huns' CT side pushed the map to overtime. A double overtime affair went the way of CYBERSHOKE as they secured a 19-16 win despite 27 kills each from nin9 and controlez.
