The second day at the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 1 saw the completion of the lower bracket round 2 games, with teams fighting for survival. As the day came to an end, the teams left standing were reduced to Eruption, Kaleido, IHC, and NomadS. The four teams will lock horns tomorrow for another day of survival tomorrow.
Here's a quick look at the day's results.

Eruption rise to the occasion, while compatriots Chinggis Warriors fall
Eruption got the better of Fengda in two straight maps despite a close scoreline of 13-11 on Ancient, where the CT sides prevailed for both sides. Their own pick of Dust2 bore fruits though, culminating with a dominant 13-3 win.
On the other hand, Chinggis Warriors crumbled against Kaleido, failing to win a single map. Both the maps were hard-fought for both teams, but it was Kaleido to win both Dust2 and Nuke with 13-11 scorelines.

IHC and NomadS live to fight another day
L4S almost managed to take down IHC in the lower bracket round, after securing a hard-fought 16-12 win on opening map Mirage. It was IHC who took the longer route to the win, winning Ancient and Inferno with 13-5 and 13-10 scorelines respectively.
The other game between NomadS and BORING PLAYER took us to a back-and-forth exchange, ending in the favour of NomadS. The Mongolian team first secured Ancient with a 13-6 win, but crumbled on Nuke to lose it by 11-13 margin. On the final map Overpass, a 7-5 lead on the T-side proved to be enough, as they walked past the finish line with a 13-11 win.
