Victores Sumus no match for the Mongolians, TBO picks up big win

The only Indian representatives, Victores Sumus had a rough start to the event as EmbeR's boys were blown away by Chinggis Warriors. A toothless T side on their pick of Inferno saw Victores Sumus go blank and one solitary round was all they could find on their map pick. Nuke was an even bigger disaster as the Indian team failed to win a single round, going down 0-13 to finish the series.

The Chinese derby between TBO and Kaleido saw TBO's stellar T side help them start Mirage with a 13-10 win before a stellar CT hold on their pick of Nuke saw them close the series with a 13-8 win.

NomadS, Eruption start strong

Mongolia's NomadS picked up a hard fought win in their upper bracket encounter against Chinese team FengDa with NomadS turning around a 4-8 deficit on Dust2 to steal a 13-11 win at the very end. Nuke was a closer affair to get things going before a strong CT half led by clouden and hasteka saw them take a 13-10 win to close the series 2-0.

Another Mongolia-China matchup saw Eruption hold on against Just Swing in what was the day's most tightly fought series. After a 13-5 win on their opponent's pick of Dust2, a hapless T side saw Eruption go 3-13 down to tie up the series. A near flawless CT side on Mirage saw Eruption bring it home at 13-8 to close the series 2-1.

Lynn Vision, The Huns ease through

The final round of games saw Chinese powerhouse Lynn Vision smash MAXXPOWER 13-5 on Nue and then 13-4 on Dust2 with z4kr ending the series with a 2.01 rating as they eased to a 2-0 win.

The final game of the day saw The Huns take on compatriots IHC in a Mongolian derby as after a back and forth affair on Nuke which saw The Huns needing overtime to close it at 16-13, a strong defensive hold on Ancient saw The Huns pick up a 13-7 win to close the series in two.
