FlyQuest wins DFRAG HyperX Nationals 2026
FlyQuest have completed a dominant run at the DRAF HyperX Nationals 2026 to win the LAN in Brisbane. The Australian team won the event without dropping a single map in the event and beat Ground Zero in a convincing manner in the final to lift the title. For FlyQuest, it was a crucial win for the Australian team, winning the event with a stand-in as Gratisfaction stood in for the team as a replacement for story.
FlyQuest had made the final after a flawless run through Group B where they beat DXA and Ground Zero before taking down Mindfreak and THUNDER dOWNUNDER in the Playoffs. For Ground Zero, they had to fight through the Group B lower bracket and then after losing their opening game to THUNDER dOWNUNDER in the Playoffs, it was another lower bracket run where they beat Mindfreak and then extracted revenge on THUDNER dOWNUNDER in the Consolidation Final to make the final.
The final was a quick one as nettik and Gratisfaction starred on the opening map on Dust2 which saw FlyQuest start with a four round lead on their CT half before a clean T side saw them pick up a big 13-6 win with nettik topping the scoreboard with 20 kills. Moving to their pick of Anubis, it was another 8-4 start for FlyQuest on their CT half before another dominant close to the map from INS and his boys saw them stroll to a 13-5 win with Vexite and Gratfisfaction on top of the scoreboard with 20 and 19 kills respectively.
