Vietnam, Indonesia clears Southeast Asian qualifier to make Esports Nations Cup 2026

Two more teams have been confirmed for the Esports Nations Cup 2026 CS2 event as the Indonesian and Vietnamese teams have qualified for the main event. Team Indonesia and Vietnam qualified through the Southeast Asian qualifier with Indonesia qualifying without dropping a single map while Vietnam had to qualify through the lower bracket.

The first team to clear the Southeast Asian qualifier for the Esports Nations Cup 2026 was Indonesia, who put in a flawless run through the qualifier. Indonesia started with wins over Thailand and Singapore in their opening two games before facing Vietnam in the upper bracket final. It was a lopsided affair as Indonesia dropped only five rounds across the series to make the final and qualify for the Esports Nations Cup 2026.

Vietnam meanwhile, started their qualifier with a hard-fought win over Philippines and a reverse sweep win over Malaysia to make the upper bracket final. After being blown away in the upper bracket final by Indonesia, they faced Philippines again and needed a reverse sweep in the lower bracket final to qualify for the Esports Nations Cup 2026.
