BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2: Preview

The first S-tier event after the IEM Cologne 2026 Major kicks off tomorrow. Starting the second season of 2026 is BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2. The initial couple of rounds will run online, following which a LAN final determines the winner. The winners of the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, Falcons will be in action alongside the best of the best from the Global VRS.

The MongolZ, who have just picked up two new recruits to replace Senzu and mzinho will debut their new roster at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2. The MongolZ will take on HEROIC in their first game, carrying a bounty of $30,000 USD. The tournament features a ruthless single-elimination bracket with a unique bounty system. Instead of setting matches by seeding teams directly, teams are allowed to pick their opponents from higher seeds.

The opening round begins tomorrow at 03:30 PM IST and The MongolZ who are the only Asian team at the event will start their campaign against HEROIC at 05:00 PM IST on Friday, 24th July 2026.

Falcons, Vitality, Spirit and MOUZ will start the tournament with bounties of $60,000 USD each while The MongolZ move down to the second slab with a bounty of $30,000 USD. Teams are required to win two consecutive games in the online stage to book their LAN spot. The LAN also runs a single-elimination bracket and the winner's prize pool depends on the bounty racked up. All teams that attend the LAN final are entitled to a $40,000 USD club share.
