Marcos crush Pak Boyz to set up True Rippers rematch
After going down to True Rippers, Marcos Gaming faced Pak Boyz in the consolidation final. The BO3 kicked off on Inferno, which was chosen by Marcos Gaming.
Starting on the T-side, Ember led his team in the killing department as MG established a 7-1 lead. Pak Boyz secured 4 rounds out of the remaining 5 rounds to close the gap to 7-5.
The second half started off with MG retaining their dominance, as they cruised towards match point. However, they failed to find the final nail in the coffin, as Pak Boyz tied the game at 12-12.
However, MG closed out the overtime flawlessly, securing a 16-12 victory and proceeding to the second map.
The second map took us to Ancient, where Pak Boyz kicked off their T campaign with a 3-0 start, but their T side fell flat in the following rounds.
As a result, Marcos secured a 9-3 lead at halftime. Moving onto the second half, Marcos effortlessly sealed the map with a 13-3 scoreline.
