CS2 receives minor update

Demo UI finetuned

In Valve's recent Counter-Strike 2 update the demo UI was finetuned and a case where the HUD would be offset while watching the demo was addressed. The scoreboard buttons were reworked now allowing them to function as intended.

A quality-of-life update was deployed where the opacity of teammate names would decrease when the crosshair enters it's vicinity, improving visibility. A case where the in-air kill feed icon would not register mid-air kills with certain weapons has also been addressed among other things. Here's Valve's release notes for the update:

MISC

  • Reduced the opacity of teammate names near the crosshair.

  • Made the death experience during bot takeover match the normal death experience.

  • Fixed several bugs with looping through bot takeover spectator targets.

  • Fixed several bugs with scoreboard buttons not working as designed.

  • Fixed a bug where the in-air kill feed icon didn't work with certain weapons (thanks aquaismissing).

  • Fixed a bug where the HUD would be offset after watching a demo (thanks again aquaismissing).
