stavn, jabbi and co. send cadiaN and his boys home
The double header Friday at ESL Pro League Season 19 kicked off with one of Counter-Strike's greatest rivalries as Astralis took on Liquid in the quarter-final.
Liquid's pick of Inferno started the series and while Liquid started with a two-round lead on the T side, it was stavn and jabbi showing their former captain what he's missing as Astralis' solid T half saw them secure a 13-9 win. Liquid started Overpass with a strong defensive hold, going 6-1 up before a late resurgence from the Danes saw them keep the deficit at two. It was captain device leading from the front as Astralis put up a flawless CT half to lock in Overpass 13-7 to secure the series 2-0.
Astralis now move into the semi-finals and will take on the winner of the Vitality - FaZe quarter-final tomorrow.
