S-Tier CS2 event set to take place in China

FISSURE Playground 3 heads to China

The first of the three FISSURE Playground events for 2026 has been announced to take place in China. The FISSURE Playground 3 set to run towards the end of April carries a $1,500,000 USD prize pool. While the host country, format and prize pool has been announced, the city is yet to be revealed.

FISSURE Playground 3 will feature sixteen teams in total. One team from the Asian closed qualifier will join fifteen teams invited through the Global VRS. Chinese, Asian and Oceanic open qualifiers will send one team each to the closed qualifier where they join five teams invited though the Asia VRS. The winner of the closed qualifier advances to the main event.

Two double-elimination groups lead into a six-team single-elimination bo3 bracket playoffs which concludes with a bo5 grand-final in the main event. The invites for the main and closed qualifiers will go out in March 2026 based on that month's Valve Regional Standings update.
