ZywOo bags Austin Major MVP

Earlier today, Vitality took down The MongolZ in the grand-final of the BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major, marking their second Major win. Alongside NAVI, Vitality are the second team to win Counter-Strike Major trophies across two different iterations of the game. Unsurprisingly, ZywOo bagged the tournament MVP, one of Vitality's most consistent players.

ZywOo put up a 1.42 rating across the Major with his best performance coming against Virtus.pro in a group stage match (1.89 HLTV rating). The stellar French AWP propelled Vitality back into the driver's seat in the grand-final after losing the opening map. ZywOo's 1.77 rating performance on Dust2, set the tone for Vitality's reverse sweep.

ZywOo has now bagged seven tournament MVPs in 2025 just a single MVP away from levelling s1mple's record for the most tournament MVPs earned in a calendar year. He also joins the elites- device and coldzera as the only players who have earned two Major MVPs. ZywOo all-time MVP count now moves up to 29.
