Ph1NNN highlights what ails Indian CS
The MongolZ are garnering massive respect from around the world for the stories of their players, like how 910 had to travel to LANs with a one-way ticket and his journey home would depend on him winning the event and securing a part of the prize pool. One such thread on reddit saw a user stray towards Indian Counter-Strike claiming that forsaken killed the scene.
One of Indian Counter-Strike's OGs, rite2ace responded by claiming that while it delivered a big blow to the reputation of Indian Counter-Strike, the scene always lacked the skill to make it to the big stage. "No he didn't. Reputation? Maybe but there wasn't any to begin with. We are just bad at PC video games especially CS & Val.", said rite2ace on X while quoting the reddit thread.
Ph1NNN expressed shared views on the topic, claiming that it stood to this day. rite2ace hailed Ph1NNN as the only hope while another user asked Ph1NNN to elucidate his opinions further. In response Ph1NNN states that the Indian Counter-Strike scene lacked passion alongside other glaring issues such as skill issues and improper work ethics.
"Players will make thousands of excuses instead of improving", says Ph1NNN before taking a dig at the mentality of Indian Counter-Strike players. Ph1NNN's statement carries significant credibility, as players have openly admitted in previous Dust2 India interviews to minimal practice before events, often expressing pride in their lack of preparation.
