CS community tries to decode the suspected "Bidding" system

The latest update included strings hinting at a bidding system

As with every new update, the content creators of Counter-Strike are hard at work, reading strings from the game files to predict the game's next big addition. From the latest update, Gabe Follower initially took to X, pointing out strings that referenced a bidding system within the armory. At the time, the community suspected that a limited time item would go on auction, allowing players to bid the stars they've earned.

МОЛЕСКОРЛУПА, the guy who leaked the Counter-Strike 2 weapon models and made it possible for players to try these new models within CS:GO, has tried his hand at decoding this new bidding system. In his Telegram channel, МОЛЕСКОРЛУПА posted a video showing UI elements of the bidding system and took a playful dig at the community saying "Here's how to lose all the stars you earned - soon!"

All of the above are just speculated changes and Valve are known to bin modules midway, despite adding related strings to game files.
