ESL, BLAST announce transition to Anubis from upcoming events

Following Valve's announcement that Anubis will be returning to the Active Duty map pool from January 19, 2025, replacing Train, tournament organisers have announced the switch of maps in their events as well, with competitive Counter-Strike set to kick off soon.

ESL have revealed that they will change their map pool with Anubis replacing Train with the changes coming into effect at the IEM Rio qualifiers and also at IEM Kraków 2026. BLAST have also announced that starting from BLAST Bounty 2026, Anubis will be in the tournament's map pool in place of Train with the tournament kicking off from January 13, 2026.
