Valve announces Premier Season 3 end date along with bringing back Anubis

Valve have announced the end date for the ongoing season of Premier (Season 3) and also have announced a map change for the Active Duty pool, ahead of competitive Counter-Strike getting underway in 2026.

Valve have revealed that Season 3 of Premier will come to an end of January 19, 2026 and players who have 25 wins in Season 3 Premier and visible CSR when the Season ends will be able to get their Premier Season 3 medal. Additionally, Valve have also revealed that from Season 4 of Premier, there will be a big map change as Train will be replaced by Anubis in the Active Duty Map Pool.

Anubis makes a return to the Active Duty map pool after more than half a year being out, as it was replaced by Overpass in July 2025. Trai, meanwhile, was brought into the map pool at the start of 2025 to replace Vertigo, will be the one making place for Anubis. With Anubis returning to the map pool, we could see it at the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1, which kicks off from January 13, 2026 and could be seen at IEM Kraków as well, which takes place from January 28, 2026. Neither TO, though, has made any announcement yet though.

With Anubis returning to the map pool, the map pool would be:
