PGL Cluj-Napoca teams revealed

PGL's year opener Cluj-Napoca 2026 will take place in the second week of February and the organizer has revealed the confirmed list of participating teams. Barring Spirit and Liquid, all of the teams towards the top of the Global VRS have accepted invites, making the event one of PGL's most stacked Counter-Strike outing. On the Asian side of things, The MongolZ are the only team to have received an invite thanks to their position within the top ten of the Global VRS.

A number of roster changes across top teams is likely to draw a big audience to see how the moves pan out on the big stage. The MongolZ are in their early days with cobrazera as are PARIVISION with zweih and Aurora with soulfly.

PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 carries a prize pool of $1,250,000 USD of which $1,000,000 USD counts towards the event's VRS weightage. The tournament starts with sixteen teams locking horns in a Swiss system best-of-three, sending the top eight into a single-elimination bracket playoffs which concludes with a best-of-five grand-final.
