Media: A summary of XSE Pro League blunders surface on X
The XinSai Esports Pro League 2026 quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons. From players finding trojan on their computers to one actually getting his account stolen, the initial couple of days at XSE Pro League was stressful, to say the least. An X user going by the handle @PanYijingFlora has authored a long post on X, summarizing everything that went wrong at XSE Pro League 2026.
Flora claims to have spoken to multiple sources related to the tournament to extract and confirm his report. While the tournament organizer has acknowledged most issues, some were partially denied. While Dust2 India has reported these issues as they happened and surfaced, this post by Flora brings out certain problems that weren't public previously.
Flora claims that players face frequent power outages in the practice room setups and these practice rooms did not have adequate security either. Apparently there were multiple instances of Fans just walking into these practice rooms. PCs with trojans and other malicious software was common knowledge on Day 1 but this post mentions browsers defaulting to gambling and porn sites with uncleared history and cache.
While XSE partially denied claims of picking up unpaid labor as "volunteers" for fundamental roles, Flora claims that many workers who directly interacted with players did not know English at an operational level, raising further suspicion. While some of Day 1's problems were solved, Day 2 had new problems. Players took to X, claiming that XSE personnel carried their practice PCs to the stage and then back to their practice rooms due a lack of tournament PCs.
Flora also claims that XSE gave no details about the location, timings and procurement of media passes for media personnel. "Without doing all other things professionally, XSE mandates every media to provide interview transcripts for review and approval LOL", says Flora to conclude his post.
