Premier Season 4 has ended

Cache to enter the competitive map pool

Through a post on X, Valve has officially announced the end of Season 4 of Counter-Strike 2's Premier. The announcement came earlier this morning and the Premier queue will remain locked until the next season begins. Players with at least 25 wins and an active CS Rating in Premier will earn medals based on their highest Season 4 rating.

The end of Season 4 also means the end of de_overpass (for now), as de_cache makes its way into the active duty map pool for the first time since the game transitioned into Counter-Strike 2. de_cache was added a couple of months back to competitive, casual and deathmatch game modes, giving players a chance to get familiar with the reworked version of the map.

Valve has not yet announced the starting date of the next Season of Premier. The community expects it to begin with Valve's usual Wednesday/Thursday update this week. The armory pass and the IEM Cologne 2026 store remains unchanged. Whether the Cologne 2026 items will go on sale for discounted prices is unclear yet. The armory pass is likely to receive a new collection and the community speculates the addition of Cache collection with the map returning to the active duty pool.
