HLTV Hall of Fame committee 2026 revealed

We're just past the halfway mark of 2026 and the year's HLTV Awards are already shaping up across a number of categories. Following the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, HLTV revealed frontrunners across different categories with cobrazera from The MongolZ being the only Asian player to be projected for a nomination.

Yesterday, through a post on X, HLTV revealed the Hall of Fame committee for this year, responsible for picking the next few HLTV Hall of Fame inductees. Everyone from last year, including Indian analyst Bleh retains their spots at the table. Joining the committee this year is hooch.

hooch, a staple of Russian Counter-Strike has a professional career spanning nearly as long as Counter-Strike itself. After spending years on end with Virtus.pro, UNiTED and Gambit, hooch transitioned into a coaching role in late 2017. With hooch added to the list, the HLTV Hall of Fame Committee 2026 is now:

HLTV Awards 2026 will take place in Belgrade, Serbia on 9th January 2027. The event will hand out awards to the top performers of 2026 across several categories like Player of the Year, Team of the Year, AWPer of the Year, Opener of the Year and many others.
