Bad News Eagles send Rare Atom packing

Starting on Inferno, Rare Atom continue their dominant run taking the map 16:11 despite gxx-'s heroics as Moseyuh and kaze with HLTV ratings of 1.42 and 1.40 respectively, completely locking down banana on their CT-side.

Going into Mirage, Bad News Eagles went neck to neck in their T-side first, finishing the first half 7:8. It was on the CT-side that Bad News Eagles found their footing.

After a shaky first map, juanflatroo stepped up on the CT-side of Mirage denying Rare Atom of any map control on their T-side. This alongside rigoN's 100+ ADR sealed the deal in favor of Bad News Eagles 16:10, pushing the series into the decider, Overpass.

Coming in as the favorites to win Overpass, Bad News Eagles were given a run for their money as Rare Atoms reset Bad News Eagles multiple times and vice versa. Although the first half went 10:5 in favor of Rare Atom, it was much closer than that.

Bad News Eagles strung up a streak of 6 and 4 rounds on their CT-side to edge out Rare Atom 16:14, with sinnopsyy and rigoN stepping up and countering every play that Rare Atom went for. sinnopsyy finished Overpass with 28 frags and an ADR of over 100 with a HLTV rating of 1.29.

Bad News Eagles will meet the home team, GRAYHOUND in the semi-finals, as they eliminate Rare Atom.
