Party Astronauts demolish Imperial
The BO3 kicked off on Party Astronauts’ pick of Overpass where they showed dominance. Starting things on the CT side, they found a strong 12-3 lead. In the second half, they continued their strong performance, winning the first three rounds to comfortably close out the game with a decisive 16-5 victory.
The second map being Nuke started off strong for Imperial. Despite being 3-0 down, they were able to concede only 2 more rounds to make a 10-5 recovery. However, Party Astronauts went a step ahead and posed a stronger CT side, finding a lead of 14-11. Imperial fought back in the final rounds, taking the map to overtime. The efforts didn't reap results, as Party Astronauts only conceded a single round in OT and cruised comfortably to a 19-16 victory.
