G2 headed to Playoffs in Sydney

The second day of IEM Sydney 2023 got underway with the Group B upper bracket semi-final between G2 and Complexity with the winner set to book a place in the Playoffs.

Complexity went with Anubis, which was the series opener and it was a tied first half at 6-6 with Complexity not letting G2 run away with their T side. It was a one-sided affair once the sides changed as it was m0NESY's AWP helping G2 put up a stellar defence which saw G2 secure the map at 13-7.

Ancient was G2's pick as they got things underway on the T side. It was a dominant T side which saw them take an 8-4 lead at the half before closing out the map at 13-7 with relative ease.
