jks and G2 disappoint Sydney crowd
The first semi-final of the maiden tier-1 CS2 LAN saw G2 take on Complexity at IEM Sydney 2023 with home-hero jks looking to impress his home-crowd.
The series got underway on Complexity's pick of Anubis which saw an even first half, with Complexity taking a 7-5 lead on their CT side. Complexity's T side though was too strong for G2 as the North American team secured their map pick at 13-8.
G2 were desperately looking to find some footing to keep themselves in the series and Ancient was the second map of the semi-final. G2 started on the T side but it was all Complexity once again, running away with a 9-3 lead. JT and the boys kept it clean on their T side to pick up Ancient at 13-3 to book their spot in the Grand Finals with an easy 2-0 win.
