TheMongolz 13-0 TYLOO, near World Cup berth
The Upper bracket final of the Esports World Cup 2024 Asia Closed Qualifier between TheMongolz and TYLOO kicked off with a 13-0 defeat for the Chinese on Nuke. Starting on the CT side, 21 kills in the half from bLitz powered his team to a flawless 12-0 half. Senzu then closed the map with a 3k in the pistol, seizing a 13-0 win to kickstart the BO3.
TYLOO bounced back on Mirage, leading 9-3 at halftime. Securing the pistol and the conversion saw TYLOO near a second map victory, but TheMongolz resisted. Round by round, they brought the game back, first tying the score at 12-12, then securing a 22-18 win, as bLitz was once again the MVP with his 30 kills.
TYLOO now drop to the consolidation final and will face Rare Atom for keep themselves alive.
