Here is how the Indian teams fared in the M88 Open League - Midseason Qualifier

The M88 Open League - Midseason Qualifier kicked off with Marcos Gaming, Revenge Esports, Frag Theory, Griffins and SBKD taking part. However, as the dust settled, Marcos Gaming emerged as the final standing team at the conclusion of the Qualifier.

Here are the results of the single-elimination tournament:

Round 1

  • Marcos Gaming v Hyper Fang

The first round got underway with Marcos Gaming securing a dominating 13-1 win against Hyper Fang. With Gh0sTTTT joining their ranks, they only conceded a single round in the first half, leading to their win on Mirage.

  • Frag Theory vs BangkhenLegends

The first round kicked off for Frag Theory with a win against BangkhenLegends. Playing on Ancient, they dispatched their opponents with a 13-7 scoreline, despite playing with a man disadvantage.

  • Revenge Esports vs 1plus4 (bye)

  • Griffins vs SBKD (bye)

Round 2

  • Marcos Gaming vs fuelist

The second round kicked off with a close encounter between Marcos Gaming and fuelist, as the scores were tied at 6-6 in the first half of Mirage. In the second half however, Marcos took control to seize a 13-9 win.

  • Griffin vs Frag Theory

The second matchup pitted two Indian teams, Griffin and Frag Theory against each other. While Griffin established an 8-4 lead in the first half of Ancient, Frag Theory capitalized in the second half to take the game home by a 13-10 margin.

  • Tuahgaming vs Revenge Esports

Revenge Esports journey ended in Round 2 after a defeat against TuahGaming. TuahGaming dominated against them, finding an 11-1 lead and converting it into a 13-1 victory on Ancient.

Round 3

  • Marcos Gaming vs team_Geniuss

Marcos Gaming continued their onslaught in the third round, as team_Geniuss fell prey to their newcomer's AWP. Gh0sTTTT notched 25 kills, helping his team progress to the next stage with a 13-10 win on Ancient.

  • Frag Theory vs Elocon Clan

Frag Theory's journey in the Midseason Qualifiers only stretched to Round 3, as they lost to Elocon Clan on Inferno. Trailing by a 3-9 margin in the first half, they failed to hit the ground running in the second half, ultimately losing the game 6-13.

Round 4

  • Marcos Gaming vs Lowkey PRO

Marcos Gaming's next opponent was Lowkey Pro in the semi-finals. Once again on Ancient, Marcos Gaming showcased their strong form on the map, notching a 13-5 win.

Round 5

  • Marcos Gaming vs Tuah Gaming

The final foe in the Qualifiers present itself as Tuah Gaming in the finals. The BO1 on Mirage started off with a neck-to-neck contest, as both teams were tied at 6-6. Once the sides switched, however, Marcos Gaming didn't concede a single round to secure a 13-6 win.
