Montes sees off the FORZE Reload challenge

The Skyesports Championship 2024 Europe Closed Qualifiers kicked off with the quarter-final games as Monte faced FORZE Reload in the opening BO3 encounter in the single-elimination bracket.

Ancient started with FORZE going 8-4 up on their CT side but Monte's stellar T side with captain STYKO leading from the front saw them turn it around to pip FORZE Reload 13-11 to start the series. Mirage was another back and forth affair and FORZE started with the advantage on their CT side but a clinical defensive half from Monte saw them close out the series on Mirage at 13-9 to book their place in the semi-finals.
