TYLOO continue to dominate while Rare Atom sees off CatEvil scare
It was two polar opposite games at the China RMR Closed Qualifier upper bracket semi-finals. While TYLOO continued to showcase their dominating form, Rare Atom saw off a major scar from CatEvil to keep themselves in the upper bracket.
TYLOO continued their dominance as they ran through Teamwork in the second upper bracket semi-final. They started with a big 10-round defensive hold before a clean T side saw them stomp Teamwork 13-2 to book their place in the upper bracket final.

The trio of kaze, somebody and ChildKing helped Rare Atom get things underway on Dust2 with a four-round lead on their CT side. Rare Atom looked set for a 10 round opening half but late impact from Roninbaby in the final two rounds of the opening half saw CatEvil lock in four T round. CatEvil picked up the second half pistol to string four straight rounds together to tie up the score before Rare Atom finally got their T side going. CatEvil fought back but fell short in the final hurdle as Rare Atom hung on for a 13-11 win with kaze and somebody topping the scoreboard.

With the completion of the upper bracket semi-finals, TYLOO will now face Rare Atom in the upper bracket final, which will take place on August 28, 2024 at 14:30 IST. CatEvil and Teamwork meanwhile drop to the lower bracket semi-finals and will fight to stay alive.
