Teamwork eliminates Bromo
The Lower Bracket Final of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 China RMR Closed Qualifiers featured a clash between Teamwork and Bromo, that kicked off on Mirage. Starting on the T-side, Bromo quickly go up to an 8-4 lead.
However, even though Bromo converted the pistol round, the series turned on its head, as Teamwork strung together 8 rounds in a row to reach matchpoint at 10-12, and cruised to victory with a 13-11 margin.
Next up was Vertigo, where Teamwork managed to scuff up 5 rounds on their T-side. The outset of their CT side saw them find a 10-7 lead, before Bromo fought back to tie again at 10-10. However, Teamwork kept their graps on the game towards the end to conclude the series with a 13-10 win.
Teamwork will now take on Rare Atom in the consolidation final as they look to make it all the way to the RMR.
