Rooster no match for BIG
Oceania squad Rooster faced BIG in their Group C lower bracket game after falling agonisingly close to upsetting defending champions MOUZ in their upper bracket game.
Rooster's pick of Mirage was a show of the difference of skill-levels as BIG's defence went 11-0 to get things underway before a chelleos triple in the final round of the opening half saw Rooster get their first round. Rooster made it back-to-back rounds by picking up the second half pistol but that was all they could manage as BIG shut it down immediately at 13-2.
asap's Dualies kicked off Nuke in style, with a quad kill that helped Rooster pick up the opening pistol on their CT half. It was asap leading the charge for the boys from Down Under as it was a tied opening half. The competitiveness from Rooster went missing on their CT half as BIG rushed to a 13-8 win to lock in a convincing 2-0 series win.
The loss now drops Rooster to the last chance stage where they will face the loser of the Astralis - Complexity game.
