ATOX qualifies for eXTREMESLAND 2024
In the Grand Final of the MESA Pro Series Fall 2024 Stage 2, ATOX faced Clutch in a BO3, with a qualification spot for eXTREMESLAND 2024 on the line.
The action kickstarted on Clutch's pick of Nuke, where they could only muster 3 rounds on the T-side. Despite losing the pistol and falling further behind, Clutch held their ground, narrowing the deficit to 9-11, but ultimately lost 9-13.
The second map took us to Anubis, that saw resurgence from Clutch. Despite initially trailing by 5-7, they brought themselves back into the game in the second half, tying the scores in regulation. In the end, hasteka posted a 1.45 rating to seal map 2 with a 16-14 win.
The decider took us to Dust 2, where ATOX stayed a step ahead of their opponents throughout the map. They started off by securing an 8-4 lead at the end of the first half and dropped the hammer on the map to notch a 13-6 win.
