GG LEAGUE Pro Series Playoffs: Preview

Commencing in late September, all the qualifiers for the GG League Pro Series have run their course and the final eight teams are locked in. The playoffs will play out as a single-elimination bracket hosting bo3 games. The playoffs begin tomorrow at 10:30PM IST.

The playoffs begin with a bo1 quarter finals after which all matches switch to a bo3 setting. The winner takes home a cash prize of $1,000 USD. Taking the qualifier prize money into consideration, the winner walks away with either $1,500 USD or $1,250 USD.

The event's live broadcast will run on GG League's YouTube channel.

The first game features one of India's top Counter-Strike lineups Gods Reign in a bo1 against PPeeks. Gods Reign booked their GG LEAGUE Pro Series playoffs spot after a comfortable 2-0 win over WahWah in the final of the first qualifier.

The other side of the bracket hosts another Indian team- VICTORES SUMUS. They qualified from the second qualifier after takin PPeeks in a hard fought bo3, going the distance. The ex-True Rippers squad led by DEFAULTER, went straight into the fourth qualifier after their AMD GameOn win and emerged victorious, booking their playoffs spot.
