ESL Challenger Season 49 Asia-Pacific: Day 6 Recap

6 BO1s kick off the week

A new week at the ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific kicked off with six teams in action as they continued to grind it out and fight towards that ESL Pro League Season 22 spot.

-72c 2 - 0 The QUBE

Russian squad -72c got the BO1 against The QUBE underway on Mirage with a 9-3 CT half which saw them pick up a 13-3 win. The Mongolian team put up a bigger fight in the second BO1 on Ancient, which saw them fight back to push the map to overtime but it was -72c keeping it clean in overtime to lock in a 16-12 win.

FengDa 1-1 Chinggis Warriors

FengDa got their week going against Mongolia's Chinggis Warriors, with the Chinese team's 10-2 CT half on Ancient helping them take a 13-7 win. The Mongolian side hit back hard in the second BO1, going 13-4 with a flawless T side to close out the map and pick up a crucial win.

UR 2 - 0 THE

Chinese team UR started things on Dust2 with an incredible 11-1 defensive half before easing to a 13-6 win with Risk topping the scoreboard with 25 kills with a 2.05 rating. The Chinese team continued their dominance in the second BO1 as well, picking up another big win, this time going 13-7 on Inferno with Risk on the top of the scoresheet once again, this time expSasiKi stepping up as well.
