ATOX decimate Rare Atom to lock in BLAST Rising Asia Spring Grand Final spot
In the semi-final of BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025, ATOX grappled with Rare Atom in an even Bo3. The action began on Anubis, where a 1.89 rated T-side from MiQ ensured an 8-4 lead for ATOX. Without much resistance thrown their way, they managed to close the map with an effortless 13-6 win.
However, Rare Atom brought the big guns on the second map Inferno. A neck-to-neck first half saw ATOX claim 6 rounds on their T-side, but it was the CT side where they faltered. Rare Atom on the other hand, conceded only two rounds to win by a 13-8 margin.
The final map was Ancient that kicked off with ATOX on the CT side and Rare Atom on the T-side. Despite conceding the pistol and the follow up, ATOX managed to restrict Rare Atom to three rounds on their T-side. Despite the game getting dangerously close, ATOX ultimately sealed the deal with a 13-10 win.
