FACEIT launches Steam Login Beta in latest update

FACEIT has released a new patch note featuring Steam login Beta, and better Elo caliberation. The beta version for steam login will ease account recovery for users, in case they have forgotten their email or password.

They have also substantially improved their Elo calibration for new players, with skilled players getting a better opening rank. The opening rank, however, is capped at level 7. These two new features will be rolled out in time for FACEIT Matchmaking Season 5, which starts on Thursday.

Matchmaking sees major improvements with the option to disable Super Matches, reduced queue times for difficult-to-match parties, and the addition of the FACEIT Track skill widget. Party and Club bugs have been fixed, and you can now place a temporary ban in a party. The FACEIT voice has also received UI updates with enhanced stability and automatic rejoining when you switch audio sources.
