The Huns end Rare Atom's ESL Pro League dreams
The Huns reverse swept Rare Atom in the ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific Playoffs, lower bracket semi-final to send the Chinese team packing while keeping their hopes of making it to the ESL Pro League Season 22 alive.
The opening map of the Chinese team's pick of Inferno saw a stellar CT half close out a dominant 13-7 win for Rare Atom with ChildKing having massive impact. A nine-round T side to kick off Dust2 helped The Huns hold on against a late comeback to tie up the series as they won Dust2 13-10 and the Mongolian squad carried the momentum into the decider on Ancient which they wrapped up convincingly at 13-7.
The win now puts The Huns into the Lower Bracket Final where they will face the winner of the second semi-final in the lower bracket between Chinggis Warriors and -72c while Rare Atom's ESL Pro League dreams come to an end as a promising start fizzles out with a couple of inconsistent performance towards the end.
