ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific Playoffs: Day 2 Recap
The second day's action at the ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific Playoffs saw two upper bracket semi-finals take place and two teams head home from the lower bracket games as well.
Here's a quick look at the day's results.

Upper Bracket
TYLOO 2 - 1
Chinggis Warriors
The big clash of the day saw TYLOO take on Chinggis Warriors with TYLOO stealing the Mongolian side's pick of Nuke 13-9 to start the upper bracket semi-final. A strong CT half helped Chinggis Warriors reply back on Inferno with a 13-9 win of their own to push the map to a decider.
A sloppy CT half where TYLOO dropped multiple man-advantage rounds saw Chinggis Warriors race away to a 9-3 lead on their T side on Anubis. Despite losing the second half pistol, a force buy win got TYLOO's comeback going and the Chinese team pulled it all the way to push it to overtime. TYLOO stuck the full comeback as a clean overtime performance saw them win Anubis at 16-12 to take the series 2-1.
The win sees TYLOO set up an upper bracket final clash against Lynn Vision while Chinggis Warriors drop to the lower bracket and will take on -72c in the lower semi-final.
Lynn Vision 1 - 0
The Huns
Since The Huns were playing against B8 in the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025, the scheduling conflict saw them forfeit their match against Lynn Vision. The loss dropped The Huns to the lower bracket.

Lower Bracket
Rare Atom 2 - 0
FengDa
After suffering a loss to Chinggis Warriors in their upper bracket opening game in the Playoffs, Rare Atom found form against compatriots FengDa as they eliminated FengDa after a quick 13-2 win on Ancient and a 13-4 win on their own pick of Mirage.
While FengDa heads home, Rare Atom will now take on The Huns in the lower bracket semi-final next.
-72c 2 - 0
NomadS
The lower bracket game between Russian squad -72c and Mongolia's NomadS saw -72c run through the Mongolians, picking up a big 13-4 win on their pick of Dust2 and closed out the series on the back of a strong T side on Mirage to go 13-8.
The loss meant the end of the road for NomadS in the Playoffs, which -72c survive and will face Chinggis Warriors in the lower bracket semi-finals next.
