B8 take down The Huns
The MESA Nomadic Masters 2025 Spring has kicked off and The Huns took on B8 in the third game of the opening round. HEROIC and JijieHao walked away with 2-0 wins earlier today. The first map took us to Inferno which was picked by The Huns.
alex and npl put early pressure on The Huns, taking away the pistol and anti-eco before the essenthial-headtr1ck duo came alive, extending B8's lead to 5-0 on the CT-side. cobra and nin9 came alive towards the end of the second half, salvaging a 5-7 half still in B8's favor.
A kensizor triple kill fetched B8 the pistol round on the T-side as the Ukrainians converted the anti-eco and bonus rounds with ease. A flawless rifle round fetched The Huns their first round on the CT-side at 10-6. MP9s did brutal damage to B8 in the rounds that followed as The Huns pushed to 8-12, sending B8 into an eco. B8 closed Inferno 13-10 off of a b-rush with a scrappy buy.
Going into Mirage, one of B8's stronger maps, B8 got off to a 4-0 start before yAmi's AWP 4K shut them down, putting The Huns on board at 1-4 and eventually splitting the half 6-6. The Huns took the pistol round in the second half off of cobra's glock triple kill and converted the following couple of rounds. A string of four rounds closed the deal as The Huns closed Mirage 13-9, levelling the series at 1-1.
The decider took us to Dust2 where B8's kensizor and headtr1ck fired on all cylinders on the CT-side to fetch B8 a colossal 10-2 first half. The Huns took the pistol round in the second half and mowed down glocks in the second to secure the anti-eco. The Huns fumbled an A-site hold, missing out on the bonus as B8.
A deagle round pulled B8 out of the ditch and put them on match point at 12-6. B8 found themselves at a 3v2 disadvantage and an empty A-site but B8 kept their cool and closed out Dust2 13-6, taking the series 2-1 as the Ukrainians join HEROIC and JijieHao in the 1-0 pool at the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025.
