The MongolZ sail into Dallas Playoffs over G2
The MongolZ made light work of G2 in their Group A upper bracket semi-final as bLitz and his boys eased into the Playoffs at IEM Dallas 2025 following a commanding win.
The MongolZ's pick of Inferno kicked off well for the Asian team as they went 7-1 up on their T side before snax denied mzinho a 1v2 to put up G2's second on board but G2 could manage just one more as it was The MongolZ starting with a clinical 9-3 T side. The MongolZ made it two out of two pistols thanks to a near-flawless defensive pistol to kick off the second half but despite winning the force buy, G2 dropped the ball to one M4A4 as Senzu's triple mow down was the final nail in the coffin on Inferno for Snax's boys. The MongolZ breezed to a 13-4 win with Senzu stepping up with 20 kills on the Mongolian squad's map pick.
Dust2 started the same way as Inferno did as The MongolZ once again raced away to a quick start on their T side, this time going 6-1 up before a triple from the malbsmd Deagle got G2's second CT round but a 910 1v2 on the B site got The MongolZ right back on track. G2 did one better than Inferno to end the opening half with four rounds this time. G2's T side provided little to no worries for bLitz and co. as a dominating CT side saw The MongolZ close Dust2 at 13-7 to lock in a comfortable 2-0 and move into the Playoffs of IEM Dallas 2025.
With Lynn Vision eliminated, The MongolZ remain the only Asian representatives in Dallas.
