The MongolZ label Anubis an F-tier map after beating FURIA

In one of the opening games of IEM Dallas 2025, where The MongolZ faced off against FURIA, an interesting revelation took place inside the server.

After the first round of bans, where FURIA removed Ancient and The MongolZ banned Train, the Brazilian side went with Anubis as their map pick. Anubis happens to be one of The MongolZ’s worst maps, as they hold just a 36.4% win rate with 4 wins and 7 losses over the last three months.

As the match kicked off, bLitz wrote in all-chat, asking FURIA not to pick that "shit" map again. FalleN, with a touch of banter, called him a liar and joked that he "loved the map", to which mzinho chimed in, calling it an F-tier map.Despite FURIA’s punish pick, the move backfired as they fell 6-13 to The MongolZ.

It was Youtuber NartOutHere who revealed this exchange via a post made on X, calling Anubis the worst map and even suggesting it should be removed before the Major.
